Meet the Dudfields...
It wasn't long after continuously thinking of ways to venture more outside the Manawatu region, that reality came true. My family and I were off jet setting to Rotorua to meet the mighty Dudfields! It took me almost a week to pack everything we needed as I am one who strives on being organised and the aim of not forgetting something - if all else fails, I always remember the theory that there will be shops nearby, so I can buy whatever it is we may have forgotten (with the exception of some things!).
Anyway, back to The Dudfields - the stunning Sarah, awesome Dad Mark and oh-so-handsome Zach (check out those eyes!!!). It was agreed that the shoot would take place at The Redwood Forrest (you must go there if you ever go to Rotorua!) which coincidentally was the same place Mark and Sarah tied the knot. It was a very fresh morning with a dense frost amongst the blazing sun. As it is very shaded in the forrest, it was almost a matter of running to the spots where the sun was peaking through to try and defrost. All in all, it was worth it! Zach was a delight to capture, even when he wasn't feeling 100% - you would have never known poor Sarah was awake most of the night before the shoot, comforting Zach (such a trooper!).
There were smiles from ear to ear from all and the love Mark and Sarah have for Zach was truly evident - super sweet! Thank you for sharing your memories with me ♥
